Bolan was a man with a stupendous talent who died too early but he was a posturing fool too. Had he lived he might have matured into one of our greatest artists or he could have ended up as a complete twat all but forgotten. It wouls have depended whether talent or ego won the battle for his soul.

Well said. I like Bolan but he never grew with his audience (unlike Bowie). I would have loved to have seen him collaborate with other artists but I think his ego was too big. Sad, coz ego would av won the battle.
