Just a song I really love. I'm singing a cross between the original and the Manic Street Preachers version, but I forgot the ending. It's a Burt Bacharach and Hal David number performed by B J Thomas originally.
The Manic Street Preachers version can be found on a charity album called (I think) "Help" which was in aid of War Child. There are some interesting performances by some big artists of the time on there (Oasis, Neneh Cherry, Sinead O'Connor, Stone Roses, Suede come to mind). Lots of original material and some covers (there's a great Dream a Little Dream of Me cover for instance).

Raindrops keep falling on my head
And just like the guy whose feet are too big for his bed
Nothing seems to fit
Those raindrops keep falling on my head
They keep falling
So I just done me some talking to the sun
And I said I didn't like the way he got things done
Sleeping on the job
Those raindrops keep falling on my head
They keep falling
But there's one thing I know
The blues they send to meet me
Won't defeat me
It won't be long 'til happiness
Comes up to greet me
Raindrops keep falling on my head
But that doesn't mean my eyes will soon be turning red
Crying's not for me
Those raindrops keep falling on my head
They keep falling
But there's one thing I know
The blues they send to meet me
Won't defeat me
It won't be long 'til happiness
Comes up to greet me
Because I'm free
Nothing's worrying me
Because I'm free
Nothing's bothering me

Thanks. I'm truly surprised at how much people seem to like this one.
Had a listen and I see what you mean about the pause! (-:
