I loved this movie

There is seriously nothing more refreshing than Roger Ebert giving a positive review of an Adam Sandler movie. He did the same thing with his review of Funny People. :) :)

@mynameisiansmum funny people?
-
Sandler is great at playing angry and this movie does the best job of using his talents.
-
@SteamProVidz That's such a interesting idea dude, I honestly could see Sandler as Daniel Plainview, however unlikely that is, good call.
-
Sandler's role in this GREAT film (my best of 2002) only makes his career that more maddening. It's like Eddie Murphy giving you Jimmy Early in Dreamgirls, then being content to follow it up with "Norbit". Just a waste.
-
Sandler is actually talented although you wouldn't know it from most of his movies
-
Ebert was a long time drunk and if someone punched him/it, the looks would improve
-
haha. I thought this was Cartman as the Awsome-o robot's idea from that South Park episode.

@jont43 Magnolia is good.
It's a shame that Sandler has pretty much dropped back down to "brain-dead comedies". It wasn't until 2007 that "REIGN OVER ME" looked like it could save him, but it looks like that's finally it for Sandler.
