Mirror's Edge Chapter 3 Heat Speedrun Help (3/9)

Hey guys.

This is the 3nd part of the "speedrun series". If you haven't watched the first, please do so. You might find something useful.

These are important parts and shortcuts in the game which will shave off a few seconds. Don't ask me to upload the full speedrun. I didn't record it when i got the achievement, so i won't bother trying to do another perfect run to put on here. Sorry.

Most people don't really look for alternate routes and think if they did speedrun they know them, but that's not entirely true. Watch the video and you'll see :)

Last but not least, sorry for all those hangs, distortions and not best quality video, but this will have to do. At least the sound is perfect...

Thanks, but I'm not cut out for that. Even though I'm very fast, the ones who are trying to be the best of the world play in a kangarooish way so to speak. Watch woody's vids for example. They hop all the time because that makes you go faster. I don't like to play like that because that's not the way the game was meant to be played, plus it gives too much frustration to be the best. I play for fun, not for bragging rights. That's why i don't make a vid with "zOMG i pwnd everyone's speedrun".

this bit is realy pissing me off! for some reason by the time i get to the first jump she slows down to walking speed i have no idea why please help

this is PC right? because theres a patch that might fix it but if it doesnt this is bullshit lol

Apparently it happens when the game is cracked. If you use a crack to play the game, she'll walk at some levels. It's part of the copy protections. That's what i read anyway.

you dont have to to be in the top ten though coz on prologue i am 7th in the world and i dont do that, i am also 41st i think in the world on chapter 1 so give it a go and its not as hard as you think
