  • not sure, maybe 7-10 or more long blocks.

  • Well, actually, the tracks the inbetween two roads, seperated by double yellow lines. The only instances where people cross is from street to street, or pedestrians.

  • Jack London Square is in Oakland, CA, USA. Hope that helps. Thanks.

  • i wish a train would go through my street

  • yeah in daylight, I don't think I would railfan in night light. Remember railroads always go through the worst parts of town in any big city.

  • What was the passenger train that passed to the right of UP (bare table?) that was on the center track?

  • Shows how much train traffic has decreased in this area since then:(

  • You were so lucky to have gotten to see a "Tunnel Motor"! Was it an SD45T-2 or SD40T-2?

  • great job!

  • someday can you take more pictures at Franklin st.

  • Nice view of the train on that last clip!

  • Nice place to railfan! Gets mostly amtrak and a little freight.

  • I was there for 3 hrs and saw almost a dozen.

  • yah just for the fun of it. I live in vancouver, we had something like that in yaletown. Some of the train sidings acually ran on the street until they were ripped off. By the way where in canada do u live?
