@dodo6244 With drive line I mean the mecanical stuff driving the car. Gears, differential and axels. Just do a google picture search for Novak HV Esc and you'll find a picture. It can handle 4.5 turns motors at 16,8V (4S LiPo or 14cell NiMh).

hi i have the old rustler too and i have a motor is the esc you have a brushless and if it is which is it???

@dodo6244 It's the brushless Novak HV ESC. Later changed to a MGM 160A 6S ESC. If you're planning on running such a powerful motor/ESC on the old rustler then you have to change the entire drive line. Propably better to get a different car. Maybe a VXL or something.
