@nelabug7 I am 14 honey and teachers don't have that right , but I did get spanked when I needed it. Have you ever wondered why they say my generation is so bad ? I believe it's because we don't get spanked anymore. But our grandparents did and our parents did. I will spank my future kids because of what it teaches. I am nothing of a bad kid because my mom will spank me.

@nelabug7 Huh?? There are other ways to teach consequence without showing or using violence. Such a bad excuse, I don't know what's wrong with these parents..shame! These are modern times so parenting must move forward. Should teachers hit your child?? Is that also right?

Spanking is violence, never use violence to disiplin your children..Sure many grow up and talk about that they love their parents but will they not also use violence as a way to get what they want or to then "disiplin" their own kids? It's should be illegal, I know it is in my country Sweden and also Finland, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal and many others! It's illegal because it's abuse! There are more affective ways then violence...To hurt a child like that, shame on you Elizabeth and others!
