Flipping through the channels 15 to 20 years ago, I came across a new episode of Gilligans Island (a reboot) after Allan Hale had died. The new skipper was a dark complected Black man, and he did a great job immitating the skipper, but the audience could not accept it, so it had a quick death. Who was the black man who played the skipper?
