WHY CAN´T WE BE TOGETHER original song

This is an example of what you can do with garageband.
The video is meant to provide an inside view on how to create low budget homerecording projects with just a macbook, an interface, a mic and some instruments . Every aspect of the recording process, from the tuning of the instruments to the final compressor and limiter settings, is done with garageband. Everything except for the original sound signals, of course. (There are many examples of fine electronic music created with garageband´s built-in software instruments, but we still prefer wood and strings.)
I use a rather cheap e-mu 0202 usb interface which does the job. The guitars and the fender bass are played directly into garageband´s amp modeling. The other instruments were recorded with an electro-voice raven as were some of the background voices. The lead voice was recorded in my garden with a shure sm-58.
