  • How about demostrating the "Mad Minute"?

  • @Paladin601 I will but I can only do it from the seated positiong, not the prone as required in the Mad Min rules. Several years ago I broke my neck, since then it has been fused and shooting prone is very very difficult for me..

  • @mag30th I know exactly how you feel, osteoarthritis in the spine. But life is good!

  • @Paladin601 Thanks! Getting older kinda sucks....

  • @nade486 Better yet, lets see you do it....

  • This is one of very few bolt action "speed shooting" vids on Youtube where the shooter actually knows how to shoot a a bolt action rifle. The shooter doesn't break his cheek weld as he shoots, which is how it's supposed to be done.

  • Single squads of British riflemen in WWII were often mistaken for machine gun positions by attacking Germans who'd suddenly come under enormous fire.

  • I just looked up several videos of your shooting different models. Which one is your personal favorite and why? 1903, 98K, Lee Enfield?

  • My goal with my No.4 Mk.I is to shoot like this.

  • @aphsknight74 Check out the Wikipedia page, in the section called "The Lee-Enfield in military/police use today". Reserve and police forces still use them, as well as some specialist units. Some forces still use No.1 Mk IIIs.

The Canadian Rangers are still issued them because they have "proven to be reliable in the Arctic environment".

  • The Lee Enfield is in service with the Indian army, and of the top of my head Pakistan and Bangladeshi militaries

  • The Lee e

  • @No1sonuk As far as I am aware, No Lee Enfield's(Bolt action) are still in use to this day. While many militaries(Third world be that as it may) Still regularly employ the 8mm Mauser for many sniping, and marksman roles. Also, The Remington 700, Heavily based off of the Springfield 1903, Which was Heavily based off of the Mauser 98(so much so we had to pay royalties to the Germans) Is now the most widely used Bolt action rifle in the entire world, in all of it's calibers.

  • theres a reason germans on the business end of a few brits with these rifles though they were getting machine gun fire...

  • Great shooting!! Now that takes some practice!! :-)
