  • These horses don't look dehydrated or starved, but running them hard in that type of terrain is brutal on all the horses, especially the young & pregnant mares. Killing off entire herds of horses for animal control makes no sense to me? Where are you leaving the remainder? Conservation of any specie is not done this way. We need wild things in our life & destroying them has irriversable consequences. Animals who survive without mans help, can teach us plenty. God Bless the Wild Horses.

  • I think it's ridiculous to think that mustangs are a great American tradition. Especially since they were introduced not indigenous. I own a BLM rescue and his life after adoption was awful. If you're curious about what would happen if we left the herds alone look up 1980's australia brumby over population. The horses were dying a slow painful death by starvation and dehydration.
