Watson the Basset Puppy - First Day Home

This is Watson, our new basset hound puppy. He was born April 16, 2009. He is 6 weeks old in this video. This was Watson's first day in his new home. Watson is now part of our family, consisting of 2 cats and a blue browned conure (parrot), and now a puppy.

how did you get the puppy so early they are ment to leave there mother at 8 weeks

Our breeder has the puppies checked out by the vet, and if they are okay, then they release them. Bassets are VERY stubborn dogs, and the earlier you get them started with training in their new homes, the better. He has had no health issues, and he has learned everything very quickly!
