hi.. how much do the new replacement lamp cost? is the projector worth the money? in the specs it says 6000 hours but how long does that last if im just watching movies mybe like 2-3 hrs a day and is there any chance it can last 2-3 years using it only in movies and gaming? tnx alot!

@vamos418 The lamp is like $120 - $130 or so, check ebay.. It lasts 5000-6000 hours of use so 5000 hours / 3 hours a day is 1666.66 days or 4.56 years minimum. Basically it lasts 208-250 continuous days of use.

I have this in my cart for amazon. Im still debating about it because of the inputs it has. I'm going to setup this with the sony bdve280 most likely and the outputs for that are only composite and hdmi and this projector has no hdmi input. Does composite give hd quality?

@J2AG the vga xbox cables will give HD quality, the s-video is normal quality and the composite is normal quality. It's best to use a PC to play movies, at least that's what I use. HDMI to vga exists I"m sure, but I don't know how expensive/functional it is.
