you would be suprised at how far they can bounce back.
1/2 a flight of stairs becomes 1 then eventually 10.
2 holes of frizbee golf eventually becomes a whole game again.
now that mine is blind and mostly deaf her hunger drives her to find those delicious smells .you have to keep the appittie going they can get in phases where the kibbles are
not attractive and you may need to enhance them to get the appitite and weight back on.

my girl just had her 18th birthday shes way overdue.i never expected her to live this long. lots of frizzbe golf when she was younger
and keeping her as active as possible
had to make several pushes to remotivate her to be active again.start back slowly after those lil injurys etc.

Oh my gosh, he is so cute. We lost one of our seniors in August to cancer, she had just had a dental and we didn't know about the mass in her spleen and all the money spent couldn't save her. A terrible shock. We have another senior(13)and are scared she is next. But we hug our shelties every hour and they are well loved. It's sheltie Heaven here and I wouldn't have it any other way. Bless you for taking care of Tommy and giving him a loving home for his life. They don't ask for much.
