Magnatone 213 Troubadour Amplifier Clone Demo by Leon C

I completed building a clone of my old Magnatone 213a Troubadour in Dec 2009. Finally got around to doing a short video demo. I'm playing through a 1x12 pine cab I made for my original 213. It's loaded with a Scumback H75 type speaker. Guitars featured are my '67 Gretsch Corvette (with original hilotron pickups), Thorn T-caster (stock Tele pickups). The Hilotrons are very low output pickups but really sound great! Will do another clips with humbuckers and P90s soon.

Was it expensive to build this clone ?

@TheWebsterExperience - not terribly expensive. I could have done it a lot cheaper if I had used cheaper parts or had been buying in quantity. But I used Mercury transformers, NOS varistors, etc. Cost a bit over 800 as I recall.
