David Knezz teaches middle-schoolers in Western Springs, Il. the art of making their own character masks. Students design their mask then sculpt it in clay and add layers of paper mache before painting them in acrylic. The classes run each year at the Children's Theatre of Western Springs. After they make their masks they are led through a semester of mask acting. Creating dramatic scenerios for performance.
