@mrpawsiki have you checked out the Fawn River or the Pigeon River? The pigeon is near Angola and the Fawn is near Sturgis, Michigan. These are both in your area and are great rivers to kayak. If you check through my channel, there is information on both if you are interested :)
@mrpawsiki Thank you so much for the positive comments. I do not have a waterproof camera as of yet. I have seen some online for as little as $150 though. For now, I bought a very short tripod from Wal Mart for $14 and attached it to an eyelet I installed on my kayak via a bungee cord. The bungee cord keeps the tripod firmly attached to the top of my hull, so it doesn't tip. You'd probably laugh if you saw it, but it works. I try hard not to tip, and the camera in an old Canon FS100.
Your videos are amazing. My fiance and I just started kayaking in the Mishawaka, IN region and we've been looking for some great places to go. I'm definitely going to check out the Kalamazoo River and also watch your videos in detail when I have some more time later.
Was wondering, do you have a waterproof camera, or do you just not flip (hehe)? Asking because I'm trying to find a good way to record out outings but it's just unmanageable to paddle and hold the camera too. Any suggestions?
