@viking403 actually your right but also realize the point up star (pentagram) was used by early pagans too just way less frequently, it had something to do with the sending out of energy in spells . Someone did a sermon on this, the over use of this symbol is very harmful not only to the earth but to the practitioner. Putting one on yourself as a tattoo (or wearing one) for example will cause a constant (even if small) flow of your life energy out of you to space or worse to the enemy.

@theindigonation no offense but you both incorrect as we Witches use both the Inverted and, upright. The JOS guy is merely touting his preference to his inverted pentagram which is simply the adopted symbol of Satanism from LaVey onwards (fact). as for the upright it is the pythogoras symbol used in its own schools so it is too adopted. having two feet on earth while channeling the power, i see no wrong with that and the inverse has its purpose:) blessings

@oneadamtwelve86 you need to do some reaserch wicca says that each makes their own choice that it may or may not be the path for you and if you do the reaserch youll find that wiccans embrace any god we just generaly dont reconize saten nor worship him yes the is evil but it is human doing not satan please do some digging before you pst people thanks!

@viking403 atcualy your wrong the downward pentagram stands for a liss stricter form of satanism were as the upside down cross is the hard core satanism the pentagram if you look up the meaning on google represents the five elemnts fire earth water air and spirit spirit is the top point bc it shows that the spirit is to in aim of the gods and goddess were as the upside down star is pinting the spirit to satain/ eveil forces it allso means that your surrpressing the spirit

@viking403 Actually, it's good BECAUSE it's pointing up. The star pointing downward actually reprisents satanism. Wicca and satanism are completely different, as many fail to realize.
