I remember when he died. Too bad, what a waste. I enjoyed watching him host the Tonight Show when Johnny was off. People were funny then without being vulgar. Miss you Freddie, RIP.

P.S. Freddie was very young when he soared in popularity. If anyone had the opportunity to see him - it's as if he had an "older soul". He was way too talented and joked with the audience as if he were telling these stories to a room full of his best friends. Don't forget, back then, we didn't have video games and other things to keep us in a younger mindset, and we all seemed in a hurry to grow up.

I met Freddie when I was 15 years old! He did a gig at Mr. Kelley's in Chicago - where his album was recorded. THE Nicest Guy..very friendly to all us fans who went to see him, and that reputation stands to this day :) God Bless Freddie :)
