Pokémon Platinum: Oak's Letter Event Shaymin

This video shows the Oak's Letter event which unlocks a Shaymin in Pokémon Platinum.

To get Mystery Gift:
Go to the second floor of Jubilife TV. Talk to the man who stands next to a woman. He'll ask 2 things. First time, say: "Everyone Happy" and second time, say: "Wi-Fi Connection". Now save your game and reset the game. You now have Mystery Gift.

You can download Oak's Letter only a short time:

North-America: September 28th to November 8th
Europe: September 28th to November 8th
Australia/New Zealand: September 28th to November 8th

After this time, it isn't possible anymore to download Oak's Letter (and maybe there won't be any Oak's Letter events in the future for Pokémon Platinum, so be sure to get it!)

If you use the Gracidea Flower on a Shaymin, it will change into its Sky Form. You can get a GF when you have a Shaymin in your party. This only works with Shaymins that are caught with an event. It doesn't work on cheated Shaymins, or Shaymins caught with the Tweaking Glitch in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl.

Do you have Diamond or Pearl? Then you can catch a Shaymin using the Tweaking Glitch, so you don't need Oak's Letter. Go watch this video to see how to do it (and it really works!):
