This is my very first episode of the drop.YO favorite host C'Yo is an 80's baby that grew up on 90's music and had an appreciation for all the good music that came before then. Back when artist focused more on their lyrical content as oppsed to record sales. Well on this episode, C'Yo talks about R&B music and it's current state. Is real music gone. Also, he had his very first celebrity interview with the group Brother to Brutha.

I really don't know what you're hearing if you are of the opinion that RnB still exists. Aaliyah was the only artist taking RnB into mainstream, don't get me wrong, Babygirl was experimenting with rock and retro pop, as well as timberland infamous hip hop beats. The thing I appreciated about Aaliyah was her artistry. she was never scared to take it to new places, try smething diff, WITHOUT following or chasing after 'mainstream'. She made what she did mainstream and not the other way around.

im glad brutha sayd they respect day26 :) the music industry should just be about all artist enjoyin themselves and making money and givin ppl world wide somethin to enjoy and savor forevaaaaaa not beefin and talkin about who the best...everyone has their own style and perspective on music whether anyone likes it or not....!
