Good for you, I own a 2001 BMW 540i I bought as a 1 owner a year & half ago. Had to replace: water pump, radiator, thermostat & housing, expansion chamber, coolant sensor, alternator, battery, rear map lamp, valve cover gaskets, oil pan gasket, solenoid valve, p/s hoses & cap, along w/reg maint; i.e brakes, tires, belts, coolant hoses, spark plugs, etc & sure I forgot some stuff, but I work for a Hyundai svc dept & can tell you 1st hand that Hyundai's w/twice the mileage do not tear up as much.
You're wrong about hyundai being a cheap manufacturer, they are able to keep their prices lower due to the fact they use their own ships to transport vehicle which are enclosed in thier own containers they built, along w/the fact they manufacture a lot of their own parts & they pass the savings on to the customer. The quality is still there & if you'll check initial quality studies, Hyundai normally ranks each year near the top for the past few years. BMW on the other hand is closer to 20th.
So does the EVO X, but nobody complains about that engine. By the way the 2.0 used in the EVO X is no longer the 4g63 it's the same engine as what is being used in the base model Genesis coupe. Hyundai,Mitsubishi and Chrysler built this engine together. Hyundai detuned it to increase longevity.
This is what Mitsubishi should have done with the Eclipse long ago before it became a fat front wheel drive only V6 cow. Hyundai offers a small 4 cilinder 223 BHT engine rwd. Good for hyundai . I am not buying it . I would not be caught dead in a KIA I mean Hyundai.
no wonder they are both cheap. don't quote me i think those are korean? if im wrong then they must be chinese. but seriously BMW is way better how can you even argue that? I have a 93 bmw 525i and it runs and drives like a brand new car even with 177,000 miles on it...
yea they did, WHY!!!! argh

Personally they ruined the design.
Concept was much more nicer.
They have seriously ruined it...
If you look at it, it looks dull...
Unique, but unappealing
