A sometimes overlooked critical game stolen on the road by Colorado Avalanche goalie Patrick Roy. Most seem to remember that Cup Final series as Ray Bourque's finest moment, but he had some help. Chris Drury's goal established him firmly as a playoff hero.
NJ Devils had taken a 3-2 series lead, and were going home for Game 6 to win the Stanley Cup.

lol did you realllly just throw that argument at me? hahah..sure you wanna go there. okay lets go. how many times did the wings own patty? dont worry ill wait.... do you remember 2002? you dont okay? lemme count for you..1..2..3..4..5..6..7 goals baby..the wings ar ea dynasty , patrick roy is one person. get alife hahaha
this is why roy always was and always will be 100X better than brodeur. brodeur always had a beyond excellent defense system in front of him. roy could single handedly win a cup for teams that had no business winning the cup.
When the pressure was on Roy was almost always at the top of his game. His regular season stats were not impressive. But who cares, when the heat was on and the game was on the line, Roy stood tall.

Roy won in Montreal, then was traded to the Pre-built SC team, thanks to Eric Lindros.
