Roy won in Montreal, then was traded to the Pre-built SC team, thanks to Eric Lindros.

this is why roy always was and always will be 100X better than brodeur. brodeur always had a beyond excellent defense system in front of him. roy could single handedly win a cup for teams that had no business winning the cup.

When the pressure was on Roy was almost always at the top of his game. His regular season stats were not impressive. But who cares, when the heat was on and the game was on the line, Roy stood tall.
