U2 Live In Honolulu Synopsys 720p HD

This is the last show of the Vertigo Tour...show #131. And what an epic show it was. We captured it all in HD.

This concert took quite a lot of coordination to capture. I was the close up angle. I've spent hundreds of hours smoothing and correcting the video to maximize the footage we did get. And I spent a bit of time mixing and editing both the video and audio into a final cut. The whole show is 2.5 hours. You are seeing a 10 minute summary of the show.

I'm sorry I could not include more. I hope the band gets to see it. My hope is they will want a souvenir of the whole show. And perhaps release a "fan" edition of this show that I would gladly provide the video. I'm sure they have even better audio to substitute.

It truly was a great show with both Pearl Jam and Green Day joining U2 for separate songs on stage during U2's set. And an impromptu version of Wild Horses due to a fan convincing Bono to let him join them on stage. Truly a sight to have seen.

malinef, I have the entire edited concert complete and have shown it on HD TV to friends and family, but have not released this final copy. For now, you can only see clips here online. I may post another song or 2 down the road...would love to release the video through U2 as an "official" fan based video, but I don't know if that will ever happen. Thanks for your comments and glad you enjoyed what we did.

Amazing! Although I saw U2 the first time in 1993, I missed the Vertigo tour. Saw U2 3D 11 times at the movies to make up for it... I would love to see the whole thing (the official Vertigo tour DVD is ok but not fantastic). Is your project available for download anywhere?
