@danihope713 its time to wake up dani- lots and lots of things arent covered in the media. the same people who run major broadcasting coorporations are the ones with cash who get people elected. No one wants lots of coverage on a horrible disaster. look at how "swine flu" caused a wave of panic and then completley dissapeared from media coverage. Those that run the world do not have your best interest in mind. only thier own. its very unfortunate.

cant wait to get out of tn lol :l

Deregulation, thanks to Bush, and now the entire coal industry is under fire. Yet this is the least of our woes

the tva will pay for them to move. no flood insurance needed.

I hope they have flood insurance. This is what happens when business can conduct as they see fit with no accountability. One more TN environmental disaster to add to the list.
Another piece of America lost to the Corporate Overlords.

Why aren't we seeing more about this disaster in the news? I don't understand, this is a major disaster. All of these people are in danger in multiple states because the watershed has been contaminated with arsenic, cadmium, lead, and other harmful heavy metals. Is there a reason we're not seeing more about this? Are news stations being paid off or something? I really don't understand the lack of coverage...
