Traveling from Torrensville to Tusmore, via Henley Beach Road, South Rd, Wakefield Rd, Britannia Roundabout, Fullarton Rd, Grant Ave.

Riding a VTR 250, recorded using a Nokia N73. This video was a test to see if the idea would work. Damn visor needs cleaning. :(

  • Are u allowed to go between traffic to get to the front like u see bike riders do usually? That would be cool especially in the city. Gotta be careful of shit aggressive idiot drivers though. Make u fall of your bike and probably would run you over and keep going the idiots.

  • As far as Im aware, its complicated in Adelaide. On one hand theres a law stating that you cant occupy the same lane as another vehicle while stationary, or something like that. On the other hand, there was a big protest about making lanesplitting legal and the govmnt caved on the issue. But then theres also no specific law against it. So in the end, I guess it depends on what the copper pulling you over reckons!

  • good to see one of these riding videos in my city :)

btw bud, how did you mount it?

  • just stuffed my mobile into my helmet infront of my nose and used the visor to hold it steady..

    dodgy but worked!

  • Awesome mate! This is the bike I'm getting and I live in Adelaide as well. It's watching myself doing it only later

  • They're some real shit roads right there!

  • nice bike...I got a suzuki bandit 600 but today i try this and have a nice drive...

  • @KillFrenzie depends where you are, i think it is mainly a grey area, but here in the uk it is legal and called filtering. Although if you did it dangerously (going past someone whilst they r doing 50mph etc) then u can be done for dangerous driving.

Some states in america i believe it is legal, and other places in the world it has been banned.

As ypp said, its complicated lol.

  • Kool mate

  • Awesome clip. Pitty the quality of Adelaide roads are so crap. So many dodgy botched jobs at filling in those cracked roads.

  • G'day mate, since you're in Adelaide i was wondering if you ride with any social bike groups?

Anyway, we have a forum/riding group called ridingSA where we meet for regular rides and coffee nights meeting like minded motorcycle enthusiasts, on the forum i'm BUSABAZZ, i ride a blue/silver 2001 GSX 1300R Hayabusa, i'm called Katanaman here because i used to own a 1981 GSX Katana 1100.

So if you want to meet people for rides etc you'd be very welcome to join us.

    Stay Upright :o)
