A speech by Yasir Qadhi given at the 10-day Peace: Vision of Islam Convention in Chennai (Madras), India on January 11th, 2008. Yasir Qadhi was born in Houston, Texas and completed his primary and secondary education in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He graduated with a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston, after which he was accepted as a student at the Islamic University of Madinah. After completing a diploma in Arabic, he graduated with a B.A. from the College of Hadith and Islamic Sciences. Thereafter, he completed a M.A. in Islamic Theology from the College of Dawah.

His published works include Riya'a: The Hidden Shirk, Du'aa: The Weapon of the Believer, and An Introduction to the Sciences of the Qur'an.

Yasir Qadhi is currently pursuing his doctorate, in Religious Studies, at Yale University in New Haven, CT.

@ManInControI clearly u havent read the bible i will give u just one of the many era's in it beacuse you are blind lets see 2 samuels 8:4 say david took from him 1000 chariots and 700 horsemen and 20000 foot sodiers while 1 chronicles 18:4 says and david took from him 1000 chariots 7000 horsemen,and 20000 foot soldiers cmon is it 700 or 7000 look for yourself in any bible and i have more when you are ready G-D makes no era and the Quran has no era's in it get it together man you sound stupid.

It is obvious to me that the quran is man made. it’s a mixture of the Christian and Jewish holy books, and Greek philosophy and the ancient moon god cult of pre Islamic Arabs. (who worshiped an idol called Allah) I found no message of love or salvation in the quran; but I did find hate and calls for violence.

The quran is clearly not the word of God

@MIBBG Yes i have read from the quran, and found it to be a poor imitation of earlier more morally superior holy books.

Muhammad was obviously a liar and a power hungry war lord. It’s ludicrous to suggest that God almighty would approve of such an evil man as his messenger or prophet.
