what's the point in supporting something not because it is good but because it is old? by removing some of these IRRATIONAL parental rights we are on the right track forward to a better society which sees the rights of the individual if there are less parental rights then the children who are being oppressed under parental control will grow to be stronger better people! so instead of supporting this old and terrible, old outlook on parenting why not just turn to the path forward?

Dear Michael P. Farris, J.D.:
As a Fundamental Independent Bible Believing Christian I agree and support Parental Rights 100%. We homeschool our three children (5th, 2nd, K-4), on their way to college. Living in Puerto Rico, there have been few mainland mirror-image interventions by the local government to "regulate" home teaching". We opt for a fully accredited DVD Curriculum where our kids are actually enrolled in the States. I appreciate your time dedicated to defend Parenthood. C. Fuentes
@Smoley: Studies (and time) have proven that children fare better and grow into better adjusted adults if raised by actively involved parents. Loving parents, not government bureaucrats, should provide for, care for, and direct their children. There is nothing irrational about that. We do not promote irrational parental rights. This is about fit and loving parents, not child abusers.
