Finally, my first official single as a solo artist is here!

Only analog synthesizer were used in recording the tune. The tune was also recorded by analog gear only and mixed with an analog mixer. The tune is from Kebu's upcoming debut album, which is planned to be released in 2012.

Equipment used: Korg Mono/Poly, Korg Poly-61, Moog Source, Logan String Melody, Arp Axxe, Touched by Sound DRM1, Roland TR-808, Electro Harmonix Polychorus, Seymour Duncan Twin Tube Classic, Lexicon MPX500, Allen&Heath GS1, Yamaha MT4x. Cubase & Live only used as MIDI sequencers with the tape sync handled by a Roland TR-626. A Yamaha S30 was also used as a midi controller for my MIDI-modded TR808.

You can buy this single from Ubetoo for 0.99 euro:

  • An instant classic of the genre! Beautiful sounds, proper composition, cool video. Is that album finished yet!?

  • @ElectricHimalaya Thanks! It is almost ready! Only one song left to re-record and then it is ready for mastering. I'm aiming for having it released in April! Keep your fingers crossed. :)

  • what program you use to film and make all you on the one screen, ive been trying probs like a year to do that effect were i can get a few different of ME's to be playing all at the same time. i only have sony vegas pro -.-

  • @DRstaszak Hi! It was actually Sony Vegas, so you should be able to do this. I use the alpha channel slider for blending the videos together with ADD as the logical function (don't remember exactly what the Vegas terminology is for it).

  • Kebu, your music is truly rad and we all see that you are "the real thing". I don't want to give unsolicited advice, so you can ABSOLUTELY take this or leave this: Your sound stage shoot looks fantastic and is the right way to go if you're serious about advancing as an artist. But whoever is managing you is missing the other half...your appearance. A t-shirt and jeans doesn't look right with all those synths. Maybe you could get a stylist/wardrobe advisor? Anyway, you're an inspiration!

  • @RhythmDroid Heh, I chose them mainly to match the colours. But yes, variation is for sure in order! :)

  • vraiment EXCELLENT !!!

  • Time to invest in a cape made of sparkling fabric. Music is great - but T-Shirt look detracts. Maybe that's just me. I come from the 70's when keyboardists wore capes or armour. Cheers - great vid. Awesome

  • That's really great, I like very much

  • meh... don't mould your self in to another styled drone you keep rocking you own individuality if anything its an endearing quality that true fans will appropriate. Loving the video and the monopoly is one of my favourite synths. Can't say the same for the poly 61 but it was sounding good in your composition ;)
