"Changing Shoes" Trailer

"Changing Shoes" is a one-woman show, about the beautiful, life changing and sometimes difficult discoveries we make when we least expect them. Tina Sloan, a successful actress, mother, wife and friend has a chance encounter one night with an old pair of shoes, sending her on a journey she never planned to take. Join Tina as she searches for the answers to lifes ultimate questions in the bottom of her closet and finds reasons to celebrate rather than to give up as she ages. Clips of 26 years on Guiding Light and in movies she has done add to the show's humor and sadness.

I adore Tina Sloan! I remember vividly Kate Thornton attacking Marge (Elizabeth Lowry) on "Somerset" about the time Kate was losing her mind. I literally followed her from soap to soap... Patti Whiting (Search for Tomorrow), Olivia Delaney (Another World) and finally Lillian (Guiding Light). However, the Eve-Julian-Kate-Ned story was my favorite!

Oh, and the SOMERSET clip was great ,too! Her character Kate was so selfish, domineering, had an out-of-town abortion behind her husband's back, lied to him that she miscarried, became a romantic rival to other women who were after her husband, one nervous breakdown/catfight with Vicki, then Kate tried to slash her own wrists, and was carted off to the mental hospital.
