How to watch blocked YouTube content (VEVO) (GEMA)

If you can't watch youtube videos because VEVO or GEMA is blocking them here is a tutorial on how to watch them anyways.

All you need is a small plug-in for firefox or google chrome called 'ProxTube'

@MenaceToSociety6 I am sorry to hear that, proxtube is using a US IP in order to mask yours so I assume it only works for videos that are not blocked from the US.

hidemyass only worked a couple of times for me. They seem to track people so after several times it did not work anymore, I was refused access.

ProxTube is a way better solution anyways. I love it.

@globalman Yes, it really is sad that GEMA is blocking that much content and it definitely often seems like it is completely random.

I hope that GEMA will sort it out and get over it. I highly doubt it, though.

Great info I will try it. At the moment I am murderous feeling at GEMA and I am a pacifist my whole live and marched for non violence in the 60's. GEMA does not just block music..... they block things at random not even controlling what they are doing. I think the people working there are morons and sub humans. I just tried to watch several videos regarding the death of Whitney Houston..... nothing to do with music rights or anything to download and they were all blocked by GEMA.
