Johnny Cash's 1st run. Any smoke you see is from paint burning off the barrel. The actual burning is smoke free due to the high temperature inside.

    The blower in this video does 450cfm. There is a newer design and we are using an electric blower that gets up to 400cfm. I hope that helps.

    Really nice to have your own Beach to use for something like this !

    Used to work for a Fortune 200 Co. They had an incinerator that

    was capable of burning {destroying} really nasty chemicals

    {like some nerve gasses !}

    It did billow "pure" white smoke while running, but suspect it

    had to do with adding H20 at sometime during the process ?

    We built this thing to deal with the trash produced at our Burningman camp. 40 oversized trash bags, turns into a 2" pile of ashes.

    The exhaust is smokeless and hot. Even with a 25% load of plastic bottles it still burns clean. The color of the metal in the exhaust shows we are above 1800 degrees. That means we can burn the black out of the black smoke.

    Its not loud we are just blowing air on a fire.

    I wouldn't burn plastic in it. it's mostly for burning organics (food scraps) and paper, cardboard, wood.

    How much fuel and time does it take to burn a whole barrel of assorted trash- food scraps, paper packaging, plastic bottles?

    And is there really no measurable off-gassing?

    And is there a muffler to quiet that thing down?

    All things to consider it seems to me, a non-techie. Thanks!

    This looks very efficient. I've built one on the same lines, but the air supply is unlikely to be as great as in your case. Can you give me any indication of the strength of your air supply machine? Ideally in cubic metres/minute, but any measure would do, e.g. watts, or cc.
