I have yet to see this movie. I was in a band in the 1960s. We were called Knot Shy. Our sound was an amalgam of surf, The Blues Magoos, The Golliwogs and Strawberry Alarm Clock. For the time, at the beginning, we sounded a bit like The Mermen. My lead guitarist was killed by a drunk driver. I developed a heart problem at the ripe old age of sixteen. My drummer was drafted. Yeah, for a groupd of punk-assed kids, I think we paid our dues.

Wow that terrible! I saw part of the moive. Its pretty good. It got really slow and boring in some parts! I liked how it showed the music scene. It showed how the beatles came, how the stones came and the Kinks. But it missed other musical groups too like the who. Id love to be in a band but im not good enough and no one makes this kind of music anymore. i hope your life is going alright and I wish you all the luck. I bet your guys were great! I would of came to your shows if I was alive then!

I'm 15, and I generally like action movies with intense scenes and stuff. I saw this movie last night. It has very little plot, and sort of is just a story of this guy's life up to a certain point. It really builds to nothing. However, it is one of the better movies I have seen in awhile. Even if you don't like the performances or anything (which are mostly pretty solid), it is definitely worth watching for the soundtrack alone. It got me into old Stones again, and I am very grateful for that.
