@JMDub89 At the end of the day, each Ranger did their part in that campaign... Andros did the intel, Tommy did the gathering, Carter did the collecting, Leo brought the Aquitian, many Beetleborgs were lost, and Cole drove the bike in the mouth of the serpent... dumb ending or otherwise. Each were a cog in the wheel that got things rolling. It wouldn't have mattered who was involved except for the one guy whose season was currently airing... the results would have been (more or less) the same.
@JMDub89 Actually, if it wasn't for Andros doing all the intel and informing Tommy about the rumblings on the moon, then Tommy wouldn't have assembled the Red Ranger team to begin with. In fact, it's been stated that Andros spent years trailing Venjix before he stumbled across Serpenterra. It's possible that he met Tommy during his investigations and soon collaborated afterwards. I doubt Tommy had a "feeling" one day that there was something going on on the moon and sent Andros to investigate.
Also, like you said, Tommy is the one who brought all the Red Rangers together, which is what ended up saving the day. If it wasn't for Tommy, Cole would never have destroyed Serpentara.
True, but that was a stupid ending and the only thing bad about the episode. The original ending was suppossed to have a bunch of old Megazords come and fight Serpentara, but that was scrapped because 1) They ran out of money, and 2) Disney refused to hire anyone outside the company to work the CGI. Cartrer only destroyed Serpentara with the motorcycle to advertise the toy.
@JMDub89 Last time I checked, COLE was the one who rode a bike into Serpenterra and blew it up. All Tommy really did was bring some Red Rangers together and did a few kicks on some Cogs and generals. Unless he had something to do with the moon having an atmosphere... which I doubt.
I want to say this is why Tommy is greater than Chuck Norris!

Tommy has been a Ranger longer than anyone else. His run throughout several seasons can be interpreted by some as "an epic".
At least we can agree the kick was cool regardless
Also, Tommy riding a living Dino skeleton is the most epic thing he's done? What about "Forever Red"? :)
