This is my Thunderfoil 2.4 meter power kite. I've been waiting to fly it with a little bit of wind. If you watch my other power kite videos, they're pretty lame. Well, this one is, too, but it's a little more entertaining than the others. At least there's a bit of wind this time. Winds were fairly consistent ... about 17 or 18 miles per hour. The location is Lincoln City, Oregon. It was the perfect place and just the right amount of wind to fly my power kite. A little more wind would have been cool, but then you'd have really seen me make an idiot out of myself.

The music is Another One Bites the Dust (obviously) by Skinny Patrini. It's a free download from www.last.fm.

  • how do you make it stop?

  • @deadhedful I think if you pull on hand all the way back, the kite will turn sideways towards the wind, and go down on it's own.

  • @atroxanimi77 good advice. Thank you.

  • @deadhedful let go.

  • k is a nice video, has a great power your kite, but it makes no sense not to show it even once in flight! But does the same...=,(

  • @alexlopi Next time (if there ever is a next time) I'll show the kite in flight

  • Imagine a 2.4 in 30mph winds with a wheeled cart. The fun ends with the long walk back unless you travel beach access to beach access. Rig up a foot operated steering device for the cart and your mobile!

  • @apatterson2k wise man ;) I love powerkiting. just feel the power of mother nature, she kicks ass!!!

  • @apatterson2k why, thank you for the kind comment!
