Ofsted http://bit.ly/cmFhAm A4e's Steve Marsland was giving evidence yesterday, along with Chris Melvin of Reed, to the Public Accounts Committee of the House of Commons

http://bit.ly/9ZLq7K A4e Pathways to Work is a fantastic scheme that helps people who are on sickness or disability-related benefits to build their skills and confidence, manage their condition and ultimately find a job that suits them.

If you are on a sickness or disability-related benefit, and are thinking about returning to work, A4e Pathways is that helping hand -- we are always ready and willing to give you the support and guidance you need.

We'll be there for you as your skills and confidence grow, we'll support you with your health condition, and of course, we'll help you on the road to finding a job that really suits you.

Some people come to A4e Pathways on the recommendation of Job Centre Plus. They really know their stuff down at Job Centre Plus, so trust them when they point you in our direction!

Some people might pass our centres on the high street, and marvel at what a good time people seem to be having inside. Others might pick up one of our leaflets, or visit us on the recommendation of family and friends.

However you come to A4e Pathways, you can be sure of one thing. We'll do everything in our power to help you improve your life by returning to work.

  • These work programs make as much sense as spending money teaching famine victims how to chew, instead of giving them food! Invest some money in actual job creation, and you'll find a majority of people will manage to find jobs for themselves. By actual jobs I mean 40 hours, and a decent living wage and working conditions, not these comedy 'self employed vacancies' or 'employer assures us minimum wage can be achieved with bonuses' comedy jobs.

  • he really is struggling, even struggling to bullshit. Comes across as an amateur. Embarrassing.

  • Useless company, useless representatives. Can't help but think A(ction)4E(xploitation) hired him.

  • In 2009 a television programme called Benefit Busters featured a course run by a woman in Doncaster. I remember thinking at the time "something's dodgy about all this".

The woman went to visit her Boss Emma (a4e) at her mansion & seemed to be impressed by her wealth & wanted to climb the career ladder at the company. It all reminded me of a pyramid scheme.

  • I dont know how they can class it as volountry work, i was told i had to do it or lose my benifits, not excaulty voluntry if a threat is attached !!! so they make money out my forced labour? A4e is an absolute disgrace. How can they not reach those targets if they include the so called "volountry work" as finding people employment !!

  • this women asking questions should say to them you are all lying crooks saves time and money...i am always suspect on these inquiries

  • @rizzlafm
