i'm getting a 86 shadow this week with 9300 miles. i herd 10.000 miles was alot before overhaul. very nice bike though. 1.200 bucks.

In your opinion what would this be like for a starter bike for a 6'1 230 lb man? Cause this is a beaut and you can find a ton of them ( not in condition like this one of course) online.

@Brandonsk33n i got a 86 500 for $1000, it was almost perfect, just a few little things, and it had 26K miles on it, i would say yes it is worth it

Nice, i know a guy with one that ha 24k miles, ment condition. He wants $1100 for it. Its garage cept and never has been laid down. Is it worth it? Please reply

Vibration- dont know- and a another problem? Squeaky front brakes-cant figure it out-not dust, theyre new brakes- had mechanic look- who knows?

@rpl4pike LOL- drove me nuts, but I figured it out- my keyring- the ignition is just above the fusebox on the handlebars!
