Adam Hughes is one of our most talented comic book artists. He has a huge following of fans who dote on his stylized drawings of women, who come from his pen both feminine and powerful. He started early. He got his first comic gig at the age of 19, doing both interior and cover work for Maze in 1985. Four years later, he moved to mainstream comics, doing two years for DC Comic's Justice League. Then in 1990, he switched to doing only covers. Within the next eight years, he was producing some of the best comic covers ever seen, including four years of great Wonder Woman covers. His body of work is so prolific that the Hero Worship entries dedicated to him will come in four parts -- the first three for Wonder Woman, Lara Croft, and Cat Woman, and the fourth for a surprisingly wide variety of other heroes and heroines lucky enough to reach his sketch pads. Music was originally "Wonder Woman," by Trey Songz, but the music police objected, so it is now "Piacere Sequence, M36," performed by Teo Usuelli.

  • are you sure this ( 1:57 ) is from adam ?

looks like J Scott campbell to me....

  • @mikebart70

I was sure it was Adam back when I did it, but it's sometimes easy to make mistakes when dealing with a mass of art. And as I recall, Adam's fan group found a few they weren't sure about.

  • some wonderful drawings this guy can do...

    whats the music called?

  • It's called "Piacere Sequence, M36," performed by Teo Usuelli. Kind of neat, huh?

  • If i could have any original art it would be a Wonder woman by AH

  • Yes, that would keep me happy, too!

  • @edward2962 yeah I agree 1 =]

  • @mikebart70 I'm sure that 1:57 and 2:53 are Jim Lee.

  • Yeah...1:57 and 2:50 are Jim Lee.

  • If you find the jet and become her, let me know. I'd love to get my hands on a REAL Wonder Woman. (Of course, I'll have to shed a few years and get rid of some ugly if I want to attract her.)
