  • Did you have Traction Control Engaged on takeoff?

  • Yes. If you turn the TC off it locks the transmission in 2nd gear.

  • lol one single run and the whole Kwait Oil Reserve is gone....

but who cares. Cadillacs are brilliant! Absolutely awesome vehicles, the pure personification of American strenght.

    :D

  • LOL. Thanks. It's really not bad on gas as long as you don't drive it like that all the time. I'm getting an average of 18mpg in the city. It's just nice to know I have the power to go around something or someone when I need to, or just want to as the case normally is.

  • LOL I know. It occurs that when people talk about american cars(I live in Europe), the Legend still goes on... that they do "drink"[ROFL] plenty of gasoline.

But I know they've got more economic since about 15/20 years ago.

    ;)

  • Yeah. I'll give up 2 or 3 mpg for the extra power and comfort though.

  • I've Tried both & seem to have way better traction on takeoff w/it Engaged. They say our ETC are around 0-60 in 7 Seconds. Is'nt too bad for a 4,000 lb car :)

  • Wow they rev up to like 6300 rpm even though the redline is like 6100

  • we had a 94 eldo but idk if it was an etc i was to young then to remember it but we traded it in for an sls cuz 4 doors is more convenient for a baby. im hopin to get an sts for my first car

  • Amazing, Sounds different (better) than my stock 1998 Eldorado ETC. It is old as hell though, 118k miles and wasn't taken care of for shit over it's lifetime :P. Terrible 1st owner.
