What incredible technical abilities... he plays a note wrong in almost every measure. Tempo is constantly in flux, not clear... I've been playing this song for a year and this is a terrible recording.

I wish you musically illiterate idiots would stop commenting on how 'Liszt' would have played it. The fact is, he played this piece well. It is far from easy and is one of the most difficult in the repertoire. It is musical and he has made it his own - THAT IS THE POINT - I don't think 'copying' Liszt is admirable at all...

technique very well, dont make it a circusact, let the notes sing.the melodies in this piece are treasures and must be played accordingly, with love, not with haste. Take your time, to convince us that this is the most beautiful music on earht. If you think this is a virtuoso piece then you are wrong. Your technique must serve these beautiful musical lines, and note this, any false move in this piece is unforgivable. Good luck with your study, have a love-affair, go dancing , sing, make music.
