I have a question. Is the mat you are using to draw on one of those Alvin cutting mats? Are they nice to draw upon? I'm just asking because I'm looking for a decent mat for my desk that won't feel funky to draw upon.

@Tejina91 Is Alvin a brand name? Mine is Martha Stewart, but the name doesn't matter. But yeah, it's very nice to draw on.

Hey BayleeCreations I was wondering, when your doing a video do you plan you drawings out? Because I did a test video and when I was drawing I kept messing up on the drawing always erasing, you have any tips on doing videos like you do? Also how long does it take for you to finsih a drawing on camera? And does it sometime feel weird when your drawing and the camera's like almost "staring" at you after a while? Sorry for asking so much I'm kind of new to recording stuff and all XD

@JLTrickster Well if I'm planning on filming a drawing, I don't normally sketch it out ahead of time and then redraw it. But I make sure I know generally what I want to do. If you start out with rough, light lines like I did (you don't need a red pencil) then you can make mistakes without having to erase. Leave the mistake there and draw a new line. Then you can go back over your lines later to make them darker. It's not like the first lines you lay down are going to be perfect

@JLTrickster but erasing all the time wastes time.
The time it takes to finish a drawing depends on the complexity. This one was really simple, so the sketch took about 10-15 minutes. The inking took longer though because I was moving slower to make sure my lines were in the right place.
And no, it doesn't feel like the camera is staring at me because it's pointing down. Plus I've made a lot of videos, so I'm used to the camera.
