  • A cheesy, campy music special, an in-depth news program, and a low-budget Canadian historical costume drama. So quintessentially Canadian!

  • never knew the CBC was airing Swedish music specials! wow!..

  • @robatsea2009 I don't think that's Len Carlson... I think he was exclusively a CTV voiceover guy, while he did do outside cartoon work. The voice sounds slightly different.

  • yes, for nearly twenty years but I didn't think he started at the CBC until the mid-1980s

  • @robatsea2009 Wasn't Bob Boving also the voice of CBC for many years?

  • Is that Len Carlson doing the voice over for "The Fifth Estate" and "A Gift to Last"? He used to do a lot of CBC voice overs - including those many Kraft commercials they ran in the 1970s - as well as animated series like "The Undersea Adventures of Captain Nemo" and "Rocket Robin Hood".

  • I don't know what his name is but I believe they spoofed him in SCTV at least once.

  • who did the voice over for these? He worked for TVOntario as well . . .

  • the funny thing is, canadian television hasnt changed at all. still low campy and low production value
