@Brentypooz A bass guitar can have 6 strings, does it make it a normal guitar?
A banjo can have 6 strings, does it make it a guitar? Guitars can have more or less than six strings, does it make it not a guitar?
Amount of strings don't change an instrument.

@Brentypooz Not entirely true. For one, a tuning doesn't change in instrument. I tune my electric down to drop C D A and B but it's still a guitar. Also, Baritone ukuleles aren't tuned to GCEA, in fact, DGBE, the bottom 4 strings of the guitar, doesn't make it a guitar.

A ukulele doesn't have to be limited to 4 strings.
