I'm from the states. I found Silverchair a few weeks ago (Feb 2011). I heard "Tomorrow" on the radio, and I looked them up. As much as everything before Young Modern is more my taste, I still think their new music is catchy, and I love them and will always support them 100%. Makes me wish I lived in Australia, because I had never heard of them. And I listen to all sorts of music, rock/alt rock/grunge especially. I was missing out! Sometimes I think we Americans can't recognize amazing talent.

@shetastesthecandy nah they won't want to kick themselves the thing is most of the people who cared about silverchair when they broke in the states..don't like the direction the music went from there.Their loss but hey..I'm glad just a little bit that by NOT being huge the shows are more likely to be filled with FANS and not people shouting out for songs they don't play anymore

I completely agree blueeyebutterfly...too many people in America just have no idea what they're missing and they'll wanna kick themselves when they finally discover the brilliance that is Silverchair..I think this is actually one of Dan's best performances of Without You..just goes to show even laryngitis can't keep talent to that degree down :)

i like the laryngitis and sexy white teeshirts. it's just really sucks that it had to happen in america because so many people here have no idea how AMAZING silverchair is. i feel like it's a secret and i discovered the pot of gold. poor dan though, he's such an amazing vocalist and it must have been hard to present less than 100% of yourself.

Wow, this was only a few days after Dan had laryngitis. They canceled the show I was supposed to go to in California a couple days before this one because of it. He's truly an amazing singer.
