Baldur´s Gate Full Series Playthrough Part 96: Caged (The Beginning Of SoA)

I decided to play Baldur´s Gate 1-2 and their expansions TOTSC&TOB and record my playing through my favorite series. I do as many quests as I can/know because there are many quick runthroughs here. I want to show the "whole game". This is going to take long and Im not sure if I ever finish this but I give it a try. Im playing with evil party and with Core (Normal) difficulty.

Here we go :) Tutorial is over and the adventure begins. Pantaloons are there waiting for me and so are Minsc and Jaheira..grr. I took Imoen with me for now. I started exploring the dungeon and found a Composite Long Bow in the end, yeehaa! Alex surely likes it ;)

Does anyone know whether it is possible to complete BG2 and then install the add on and import the character to the Bhaal campaign? because if i install both and play shadows of Amn the Golem in the first dungeon, who is supposed to open the Doors is not able to start a conversation with me. ("You cannot start a dialogue. the golem seems to be busy" or something like that)

It is possible. Hmm..weird Golem :o

Other thing woth trying is pickpocketing the golem and then you can open the doors yourself.

i got the solution, i think, i had that same bug, what i did was just update the Throne of Bhaal game with the official patch and it works....think they had a fix for that in the update, if that doesnt work then i dont know......you probably have sorted it by now anyways hehe :)

if u kill the weird cleirc drow (whats 'er name?), anyway she should be dead in this game if u do, what if u never met minsc and what if you get edwin and dyiheir and she kills edwin it dosent make sence.

Heh, thats awesome to hear...first take 2 weeks free, then another 2 to explore the game better, then months, then years, then quit your work, all you need is Baldur´s Gate ;)
