@13Heathens No. I can talk about football (soccer) sometimes. It was just that I am interested in what Szasz says about psychiatry in relation to religion. (In the Manufacture of Madness.) Religion and psychiatry both proscribe behaviour - what human beings can and cannot do. Both subjects emerge from the same mental constructs of the human thinking processes and result in believers and heretics. Fascinating stuff. Only science can save us from our madness. ;-)

Islam is submission to Allah, so it covers anyone who submits to the commands of the Jewish god. Abraham did so, making him a Muslim. So did Noah for that matter, along with Enoch, ... Jews might not use the words Islam/Muslim to cover them, but would agree that they fit the criteria for being a Muslim. (now they might disagree on Mohammad meeting the criteria)

On the other hand Jews started not with Abraham, but with Jacob, his grandson.
