  • down and the people at Autism Speaks should be charged with intimidation, especially to an autistic minor. Thanks for your support. :)

  • I agree that the truth about autism is twisted in the media. People should stand up against yellow journalism. Not to mention, Bob Wright, ex-CEO of NBC Universal, is the co-founder of Autism Speaks. I also believe that pro-cure organizations, politicians, and the media work together to oppress autistic and disabled people. Heck, journalists like Diane Sawyer (I can't stand her) think the autism rights movement is some crazy cult. Ableist organizations like NIMH, AS and others should burn cont.

  • Neither the mainstream medical establishment nor our politicians can be trusted. If they had their way, they would put people like myself into death camps because they see us as leeches on tax money. However, I would rather die with my dignity at the hands of the government than be subjected to being used by idiots like Jenny McCarthy.

  • I understand what this video is saying. But some of children who are autistic do have physical problems like intestinal and having to much yeast in their bodies and when those issues are addressed (all the physical issue, whatever they may be) they "recover" from their autism. Yes we should except every one for who they are. Every one is different and we need to take that into account. We need to stop pointing fingers.

  • I liked a lot of Hillary's ideas, and still do. I did not like how she played politics at all.

But now, my support is completely withdrawn. Somehow, I get the feeling that it is a bad idea to support someone who wants to destroy you.

Anyway, here is an Aspie showing the love. I am a person first, Aspie second.

  • Hillary is the grim reaper for us on the spectrum! YIKES!

  • I love the "flap" when my son is excited. I hope he never loses that.

  • It is true!

  • I was raised in a place that taught "...And the meek shall inherit the Earth!" My son is one of those... No one understands the struggles of an autistic child! No one! Unfortunately, only they do. I don't take offense to others stating all of these 'facts'. It is a disorder that does, in most cases, take away a child that a parent once knew. Yes, the child is still there. And yes, in most of these cases, the parents hold onto the hope that they may have the child they once knew.

  • Who knows? it might be.
