@hamilton59840 movie? in what movie
-
LOL to updated my previous post, Disorganized Crime came out in 1989 so, of course, a lot of things have changed, not just in Hamilton, Montana but everywhere, but this video brings back a lot of good memories of the movie and Hamilton is a place I would love to visit because of the movie and even Montana itself looks like a beautiful state

Just a quick update...
The Filling Station Grille now occupies to where
the Out West store and ice cream shoppe once existed,
and a new eatery called The Loft serves some yummy
food dishes upstairs.
Taco Del Sol now occupies where the Banque Club Fine Dining
once existed, serving up lots of yummy south-of-the-border favorites,
while The Banque is now a sports bar, and an extended branch
of the Ravalli County Bank occupies to where the Exchange
served food and had live music a few years ago.

wow, still looks the same as it did in Disorganized Crime

@zoinkpanooley Well, almost looks the same.
I know that some places that were shown in the movie,
(such as the local burger hop and Hardee's) were demolished
and replaced by a Calamity Jane's Casino and a Walgreen's store.
4-B's is no more and the building was renovated and replaced
by Lucky Lil's Casino, and a lobby-recreation room now fills
the space where Lucky Lil's did business.
The overhead traffic light on the corner of 3rd and Main is gone
and was replaced by a 4-way stop sign....

@zoinkpanooley Other places that went belly-up or have been
replaced include Anthony's, along with Atlas Travel, Banque/Exchange Club...
(which is now The Banque Club and Taco Del Sol, downstairs, and a
Ravalli County Bank home loan center, upstairs)
Aspen Leaf Bar was also demolished and was replaced by
the Silver Coin(now Office/Silver Coin).
What was the Brass Rail in the movie is now Club 93.
And, of course, the Silver Bridge is gone and was replaced
by the Veterans Bridge.

Now, I know that this area's changed, economically.
When I did this video, Maggie's was still in business, before it was sold and later renamed the Main St. Cafe, until it went belly-up in 2009,
and then, the Filling Station Grille opened up for business later in the year, and is still doing well today.
Some other businesses in this video have either moved away or closed up shop for good,
due to the sluggish economy...
However, some new places have opened
(or will open soon) are settin' up shop.
