She's gorgeous! They do this when they're overheated…when mine get this hot, I make sure and wet under their legs, like at their armpit. That's where their natural air conditioners are. We keep a horse trough filled with water in our backyard for our GSP's, just so they can cool down after intense exercise. I've seen a dog overheat and die, it's not pretty. They absolutely do not know when to stop, so we as owners need to have some wisdom for them. She's a gorgeous dog!

@coltondip10 Dogs dont pant just because they are out of breath. They pant to lose heat which is what is happening here. She is is in some discomfort here and is lying on the tiles to try to cool down. If you dont have pool for her to stand in then get the garden hose out, and fast.

haha i wish my dog could have got that tired, we used to take him on long long walks and hed still be hyper afterwards...i love when she drags herself across the floor...classic

awesome dog you have! we two GSPs.

GSPs are very high temperature dogs. theyre from a cold climate but have short hair because their bodies create heat efficiently. -GSP father

my german shorthaired pointer does that every July 4th. She gets freaked out by the fireworks

check his heart rate, if hes not able to bring it down under a reasonable time then visit your vet. nn to worry , its just the first impression of this heavy breathing makes me think she should be checked upon
