  • A note, it is now March of 08 and I am having the track ball problem that everyone has been warning me about :(

  • MONOTONE AHHH

  • Unfortunately yes :(

  • Does it get bad reception because it is wireless? Lag? I wonder if the wired one would be better.

  • actually it works great, every now and then it might miss one click but overall its a great mouse, most of my original complaints I'm over, but my track ball did just stop working which is apparently a known issue :(

  • oh about the pairing problem.. yes it does take awhile for it to pair when you turn on the mighty mouse.. here's a tip.. once you turn it on.. click the mighty mouse 3 times and it should pair instantaneously.

It's a good mouse.. just takes time to get used to. Not recommended for gaming... but does the job for other computing tasks.

  • I have noticed that clicking the mouse makes it pair faster. I just had the batteries die for the first time a few days ago, I put this vid up on May 30th so this mouse really is very energy efficient! But yes, its not the most comfy mouse for gaming, my ball is not clogged up, other than that I've grown to be happy with it! Thanks!

  • oh about the batteries... they last long only with the energizer lithium batts. They won't last as long with other types of batteries.

Only other thing i don't like is the dirt clogging up on the top shell. Dirt is always an issue and it can cause the track ball to stop responding. It happens pretty often. So get a good reliable cleaning cloth handy.

  • cheers for the fast response.

    good video

  • no i have not, other people certainly have though, the ball works great

oh and I'm still on the original batteries, i use it every day
